I was pleasantly surprised by the reception and front desk experience, the agent was pleasant, friendly and welcoming. (Had read other reviews before arriving). Very nice young man, no long line (a wednesday), easy to find the bright orange desk!
Once I arrived I was informed that the Mercedes I ordered was unavailable, I had the choice of a Volvo or Cadillac, although nice choices, I specifically expected a Mercedes or the like. I was offered to upgrade to a larger vehicle (BMW suv) which was not useful for my needs. After deciding on the Volvo, I was very underwhelmed by the car, it had the sunroof, and was good smelling, new enough, a few small scratches, dents as expected in a rental, but the car itself was not better then anything I could have rented from another major company. I walked out and was handed keys and told E4 spot. I loaded my luggage and sat there for 20 minutes with ZERO instruction or help offered on the car. I was underwhelmed after my very nice front desk reception and renting from a major company may offer more choices or a better backup, plan B if what I ordered was not available and more personal service after my credit card is taken.
