Montenegro Airlines was established on October 24th, 1994. The airline was founded to meet the needs of Montenegrin economy and has ever since been fully contributing to the development of the Montenegrin tourism and economy in general.

With over 3 million transported passengers Montenegro Airlines has evolved into a modern air carrier, which operates in accordance with present-day international standards. Satisfied passengers and numerous certificates and licenses testify to it.

Prior to beginning of the last season the airline celebrated the arrival of a new Embraer-195. Its one-year long exploitation proved this type of aircraft to be the right choice. Another Embraer-195 was introduced into the Montenegro Airlines fleet prior to beginning of the 2009 season. By purchasing the second Embraer Montenegro Airlines created its own e-jet aircraft family. Two new Embraers, two sophisticated airplanes along with already proven Fokker 100's, make an imposing fleet of seven state-of-the-art aircraft.

Following world trends and needs of foreign clients, amongst others, Montenegro Airlines has on its new website enabled "book&buy" online service which enables booking and buying tickets using the internet. The service is suited to all users, meaning that all passengers can quickly and easily obtain tickets. Apart from the aforementioned, the new website contains information on Montenegro Airlines' schedule and destinations it operates to, news about airline's offers, special fares, details of travel arrangements the national flag carrier of Montenegro prepared for you.
